IntelliscreenX takes it one step further and adds a "top shelf" that allows you to add quick toggles you can access with a quick swipe down on notification center. IntelliscreenX gives you the ability to add widgets and other information to your lockscreen and notification center. I like them to stay there until I dismiss them myself. I've never been a fan of how iOS 5 discards notifications from the lockscreen immediately after unlocking. This is where apps like LockInfo and IntelliscreenX step in to give you even more control over how notifications are handled. While iOS 5 added a ton of enhancements to the way notifications are handled and presented, Apple still left a lot of room for improvement. $0.99 - Cydia Search Link Notification enhancement apps No more choosing between only four apps to stick in your dock.Īdds contact pictures to your address book next to each contact. If you want to stick more than 12 apps into a single folder or nest folders, either of these two apps will get the job done by basically removing Apple's folder limitation. If you don't need anything but quick toggles, NCSettings is a great choice and more visually appealing than SBSettings since it integrates right into the top row of Notification Center and blends in perfectly.įree - Download Now FolderEnhancer and Infinifolders While many long time jailbreakers have been fans of SBSettings, there's a new guy in town that does toggles in a much more refined way than SBSettings under iOS 5 and that's NCSettings. All with a simple swipe on your status bar. It also allows you to monitor free memory and clear it out. If you want a quick toggle to turn off SMS alerts, you've got it. SBSettings has a limitless amount of toggles available in Cydia and can be customized and tweaked until your heart's content. You need to add to your sources to get it.Who likes to tap all the way into Settings to disable Wifi or 3G? I know I don't when I can just use SBSettings to disable it with two taps from virtually anywhere on my iPhone. If you are interested in that tweak then you would be pleased to know that the final version of the hack, AppSync Unified 5.1 has been released and it is now available for download in Cydia. AppSync Unified 5.1Ī few weeks ago we told you about AppSync Unifed beta for iOS 8. You can get CCClockOpenToAlarm8 tweak from Cydia for free. If you are like me then you would love this tweak. Personally I prefer the Alarm option as I hardly use the Timer on my iPhone. CCClockOpenToAlarm8 changes that behavior by opening the ‘Alarms’ screen of Clock when you tap on that button. The Clock button in the Control Center quickly opens the ‘Timer’ screen of the clock application. But with CyDelete8 you can do it directly from SpringBoard by entering the wiggle mode and tapping the ‘x’ button. Normally, unlike the App Store apps you have to open Cydia and uninstall the applications downloaded from the store. This hack allows users to delete apps downloaded from Cydia directly from the homescreen. CyDelete8ĬyDelete8 is one of the most useful tweaks for Cydia. CSwitcher was available for iOS 7 already and it recently got updated to bring iOS 8 compatibility. You can close any app by tapping and holding on any app’s icon and then tapping on the ‘x’ button. You can choose from icons or app previews as shown in the screenshots above. CSwitcherĬSwitcher essentially brings the iOS app switcher to the control center making it possible for users to switch between opened apps and close them right from the CC. You can download DreamBoard for free from Cydia. However some of its themes are much more advanced and full of features compared to WB. One thing that makes DreamBoard different from WinterBoard is that it runs the themes in a shell and isn’t as powerful as WinterBoard. DreamBoard recently got updated to bring full support for iOS 8 allowing users to apply themes, add widgets and do styling on their springboard. DreamBoard is an advanced themeing platform for iOS and is a great alternative to WinterBoard when it comes to customizing the look of iPhone or iPod touch’s user-interface.
